We designed a cube to represent the bank’s Wintech Digital Banking. The cube is made up of different faces, each representing a particular banking service. The combination of all the faces, forms the comprehensive mobile banking service offering. The Chinese name “一點通” for “Wintech” that we have created is a play on words that incorporates a double meaning. It can be interpreted to mean that a service can be accessed from the application with just the point of a finger, and also that all the services of the bank are assembled at one point, within the Wintech Digital Banking.

The logo of “Wintech” has been thoughtfully designed which incorporates a cube and a glowing “W”, highlighting the new digital service Wing Lung Bank offers.

As working hours get longer, many consumers are unable to visit a bank to handle their banking needs. To address this scenario, Wing Lung Bank commissioned Stand Communications to design a Virtual Teller Machine (VTM). After office hours, this convenient technology provides a variety of banking services. During office hours, it can also save time and reduce queues at the branch counter. VTMs operate as mini-branches. They can be introduced at locations convenient to consumers who need a flexible banking service.

Virtual Teller Machines are a new trend in consumer financial services. Taking advantage of the limited space outside of the branches, these units provide services to a greater and broader number of customers. VTMs provide a variety of customer services through video conferencing. As such, privacy is an important concern. In designing the VTMs, we advocated the use of translucent, frosted glass panels to create a spacious, yet secluded environment without sacrificing the use of natural and ambient light.
